Online registration is now available for the second-annual Friends of Athletics Golf Tournament held May 5 at Poplar Grove. This captain’s choice tournament will feature a hole-in-one car give-away sponsored by Amherst Motors, beat the “pro” competition, a putting contest, and golf carts equipped with Global Positioning Systems. Proceeds benefit the Sweet Briar College athletic program.

This year’s Varsity Sports Award Ceremony will once again be held in conjunction with the golf tournament. The 2005-2006 Varsity Sports Awards Ceremony is May 4 at 6 p.m.
