All season long it looked like Sweet Briar had a team that could make it to the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Finals. Following the IHSA Zone IV Hunter Seat Finals on April 9 at SBC’s Rogers Riding Center, the predictions came to pass.

Sweet Briar posted a team total of 43 points in zone finals and, along with Virginia Intermont College, will represent Zone IV in the IHSA National Championship May 4-7 in Harrisburg, Pa.

Sweet Briar was second in the zone finals to Virginia Intermont, with Bridgewater College claiming third place.
