Softball Falls at Emory & Henry
EMORY – Emory & Henry College took both games of a doubleheader Sunday as the Wasps defeated Sweet Briar 11-1 and 6-1. Both Vixen runs came via the long ball. Junior Meagan Chenault (Amherst, VA/Amherst County) hit a solo shot in game one. She added two singles in game two to finish the day 3-for-5 at the plate. Krystal Ellis (Rustburg, VA/Rustburg) hit her fifth home run of the season in game two.

Sweet Briar is home Friday for its last home game of the season. The Vixens take on Lynchburg College at 3 p.m.
