LEXINGTON — Sweet Briar lacrosse fell 16-2 on the road Saturday to the 12th-ranked Washington and Lee Generals. With the loss, the Vixens are now 5-6 overall and 2-4 in the ODAC.
Sophomore Sarah Ross Stewart (Lexington, VA/Virginia Episcopal) put both Vixen goals on the board, picking up an unassisted goal in each half. Goalie Emily Fitzpatrick ’07 (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) stopped 20 shots in the game.
Sweet Briar takes on Alumnae tomorrow at 2 p.m. and travel to Guilford College Wednesday to take on the Quakers at 4:30 p.m.
