LYNCHBURG — Lynchburg tennis defeated Sweet Briar 8-1 Friday in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action. The doubles team of Caroline Byrd ’08 (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) and Haley Graham ’06 (Virginia Beach, VA/Ocean Lakes) defeated their opponent 8-0 at No. 1 doubles.

Sweet Briar takes on visiting Roanoke College at the Amherst Middle School tennis courts Saturday. The match gets underway at noon.
