ASHLAND — After two weeks without a scheduled match, Sweet Briar tennis returned to action Wednesday, suffering a 6-3 loss at Randolph-Macon College. The Vixens took wins in singles at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5. Senior Haley Graham (Virginia Beach, VA/Ocean Lakes) defeated Aly Nardi 6-1, 3-6, 10-4 at No. 2. Riana Rich (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) at No. 3 and Stephanie Nance (Moneta, VA/Staunton River) at No. 5 both defeated their opponents in straight sets.
Sweet Briar travels to Bridgewater Sunday to face the Eagles at 1 p.m.
