Spring Competition Underway for Tennis
LEXINGTON — Tennis opened its spring season Saturday with perennial conference champion Washington and Lee University. The match, which Sweet Briar lost 9-0, gave the young Vixens the opportunity see a high level of play and gain experience against top-level players. The Generals are currently ranked No. 2 in the ITA Division III rankings.

Sweet Briar continues its heavy road schedule March 26 at Bridgewater College. The team’s first home match is Wednesday, March 29 against conference-foe Hollins University.
