Patrick Long will screen his film, “All Rendered Truth,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 as part of the Southern Circuit Film Series at Sweet Briar College in Tyson Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. There will be a discussion with the filmmaker afterward.

Those who are interested also may dine with Long at 5:30 p.m. in Burnett Dining Room before the screening. Dinner is $6.75, $5.50 for SBC faculty and staff.

Armed with a map and 10 essential questions to ask artists, Long and fellow filmmaker Scott Blackwell set out on a trip to make a film about folk art. They find their subjects uncooperative – or unable to answer the questions posed. Long and Blackwell realize that it isn’t their job to lead these artists; their task is to follow and capture as much information as possible. The film is not rated.
