Sweet Briar College’s Janet Lowery Gager Community Concert Series will present award-winning organist Nathan Davy at noon Tuesday, March 7, in Memorial Chapel. The final event of the 2005-2006 series, the performance is free and open to the public. Guests are welcome to bring a lunch to enjoy during the concert.

Organist Nathan Davy.A Virginia native and junior at Asbury College in Kentucky, Davy will perform works on both the Holtkamp and baroque organs. He was one of four finalists in the 2005 Augustana/Reuter National Undergraduate Organ Competition and gives frequent recitals in the Lexington, Ky., area.

The concert series is supported by Forrest L. Gager Jr. in memory of his wife, Janet Lowery Gager. It provides opportunities for members of the College and its neighboring communities to learn about and be entertained through diverse musical experiences.
