The Honors Colloquia series "Space and Time" resumes at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Honors Center with a presentation by visiting professor John Ashbrook. Ashbrook's program is titled, "Othering My Brother: Co-national Competition Challenging the 'Monolithic' Nation, Istrian Croatia in the 1990s."
The series continues on Wednesday, March 1, with physics professor Scott Hyman's program "A Search for Transient Radio Emission from the Center of our Galaxy," and on March 29, visiting anthropology assistant professor Margot Weiss will present "Space and Time in SM Sexuality."
The series concludes on Wednesday, April 12, with a lecture by Rebecca Ambers, assistant professor of environmental studies, titled "If a Stream is Dammed, Does it Go to Hell?"
These informal presentations are meant to encourage questions and discussion and all students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate. All lectures begin at 4:30 p.m. and are held in the Honors Center.
