Glenn Moody, a noted trainer of hunter and hunter seat equitation riders, will present a lecture on finding the distance to a jump at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at Sweet Briar College. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Tyson Auditorium in Benedict Hall (Room 100).
Moody, who trained for The Barracks in Charlottesville and is a large “R” judge for the U.S. Equestrian Federation, will discuss his exercises to help riders develop the ability to find a good distance to jumps on a consistent basis.
Moody also is an accomplished course designer, whose credits include the Washington International Horse Show course in 2004, and the Middleburg Classic and the Legacy Cup in 2005.
