Vixens Split Conference Tri-Meet
SWEET BRIAR, VA – The Vixens of Sweet Briar College split a tri-meet with Randolph-Macon College and Emory & Henry College, Friday in ODAC swimming action. Sweet Briar fell to Randolph-Macon, 31-64, and defeated Emory & Henry 69-21 in the meet to bring its season record to 5-3

First-year Kelly Cuddihy (Williamsburg, VA/Lafayette) led the Vixens picking up one first-place finish and two seconds. Cuddihy took second in the 200 M. medley relay (2:22.07) and the 200 M. individual medley (2:45.29). She finished the meet capturing first in the 100 M. breaststroke with a time of 1:25.63.

Sweet Briar touched the wall first in two events and finished with six second-place finishes. The Vixens won all 11 events versus Emory & Henry to pick up their first conference win. Randolph-Macon defeated Emory & Henry 75-19 in the meet.

Sweet Briar wraps up its home meet schedule Wednesday when it takes on Hollins University at 6 p.m.
