The Sweet Briar College Writers Series continues at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 in the Wailes Lounge of the Florence Elston Conference Center with a reading by poet Dana Roeser.

Roeser’s first book of poems, “Beautiful Motion,” published in 2004, was the winner of the Samuel French Morse Prize. In 2005, she won the Great Lakes Colleges Association New Writers Award and the 2005-2006 Jenny McKean Moore Writer-in-Washington Fellowship at George Washington University.
She has been a fellow at the Ragdale Foundation, Mary Anderson Center for the Arts, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Le Moulin à Nef (administered by the VCCA) in Auvillar, France.
