GREENSBORO, NC – Sweet Briar volleyball finished the 2005 season Saturday on the road at Guilford College. Sweet Briar fell to the Quakers by scores of 14-30,14-30, 20-30 to finish the season with a 0-10 record in the conference. First-year Dori Rucker (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) led the Vixens’ offense with 7 kills as Jade Bomar ’08 (Monroe, VA/Amherst) picked up 12 assists. Natalie Cutchin ‘09(Windsor, VA/Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) was the team leader on defense.

Sweet Briar, 1-20 this season, improved its 2004 marks in almost every category during 2005.
