SWEET BRIAR, VA – Sweet Briar volleyball suffered a 3-0 (11-30, 6-30, 7-30) loss Wednesday from conference undefeated Washington and Lee University in the Vixens’ last home match of 2005. First-year Shelley Woody (Madison Heights, VA/Amherst) led Sweet Briar defensively with nine digs against the Generals’ strong attack.
Sweet Briar wraps up the 2005 season on the road Saturday. They face Guilford College at 11 a.m.
