BRIDGEWATER, VA – Sweet Briar volleyball suffered a 3-0 loss on the road Saturday, losing to the Bridgewater College Eagles by a score of 14-30, 14-30, 16-30. First-year Meagan Bell (Madison Heights, VA/Amherst) had a season-high in digs with 16. Laurel Watts ’08 (Keysville, VA/Randolph-Henry) and Abigail Gerber ’07 (Chesterfield, VA/Pickerington) each picked up two block assists.

Sweet Briar returns home Friday to face cross-town foe Randolph-Macon Woman’s College at 4 p.m.
