Artist Sue Johnson will discuss her mixed-media exhibit, “Fragments from the Alternate Encyclopedia,” at a reception from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, in the Babcock Fine Arts Center gallery at Sweet Briar College. The show, which is free and open to the public, continues through Oct. 16.

Gallery hours are noon to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
