Schalestock/Tibbetts Finish First at Virginia Women's College Championship
ROANOKE, VA – First-years Shannon Schalestock (Casanova, VA/Highland School) and Maeve Tibbetts (East Boothbay, ME/Boothbay) finished first in Flight B doubles, Sunday, as Sweet Briar wrapped up play in the Virginia Women’s College Championship.

The Schalestock/Tibbetts team was 3-0 in flight play, defeating Alice Rainka and Katherine McDonough of Hollins 8-6 in the final.

In singles action, Schalestock and Tibbetts each took fifth place in their flights. Senior Haley Graham (Virginia Beach, VA/Ocean Lake) went 2-1 in Flight B to finish second.
