LYNCHBURG, Va – Sweet Briar soccer opened play in the Randolph-Macon Woman’s College Soccer Classic Tournament, Saturday, losing 6-0 to Catholic University of America.
The Cardinals kept Sweet Briar on the defense most of the game, scoring four goals in the first half. The Vixens rebounded in the second half, but could not overcome the goal deficient.
Sweet Briar continues tournament play tomorrow as they take on Mary Baldwin at 12 p.m.
