Several youth athletic camps will visit campus this summer:
Second-Annual SBC Competitive Summer Swim Camp; June 1-24 boys and girls ages 10-17
This overnight/commuter camp will offer participants three daily pool sessions, flexibility and strength exercises, and lectures on topics such as training and conditioning, nutrition, and sports psychology. Cost for the camp $375 for overnight campers and $285 for commuters. Family discounts are available. Contact Jason Gallaher at

Merestead Field Hockey and Lacrosse Camp; June 26-30
girls grades 7 through 12 (Graduating seniors may attend)
Merestead is the oldest sports camp for girls in the U.S. and will visit Sweet Briar for the first time this summer. This overnight/commuter camp features five days of instruction with four sessions daily. Campers can choose to receive instruction in field hockey, lacrosse or both and are grouped by experience and ability. Cost for the camp is $455 for residential campers and $275 for commuters. Vixen Soccer Camp 2005; August 8-12
Boys and girls ages 5-17
This day camp will feature instruction from SBC head coach Paul Shaw, assistant coach Brad Hamilton, special guests, and college players. Sessions will be divided by age with participants ages 5-10 from 9 a.m. to noon and 11-17 from 5-8 p.m. Registration is $100 per participant and includes daily prizes, a Vixen soccer ball and T-shirt.
