The Sweet Briar College Honors Committee has awarded Honors Scholarships to 22 students in the classes of 2005, '06, and '07.
The Honors Scholarship recognizes academic excellence and exceptional performance demonstrated by both a student's cumulative grade point average and breadth of study. The faculty-comprised Honors Committee chooses recipients based on intellectual efforts and contributions to the SBC community and beyond.
Awarded annually on a competitive basis, the scholarships include a financial award and credit at The Book Shop to help defray the cost of textbooks.
