Hockey Faces Host in Opening Game of Women's College Invitational at Wilson
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Hockey faced host Wilson College Saturday in the first of two games to be played over the weekend at the Women’s College Invitational. Sweet Briar improved its play in the second half but could not come away with the win, as Wilson took the game 2-0. Goalie Cat Cox (Prince Frederick, MD/Calverton) stopped seven shots in goal. Sophomore Rebecca Olander (Richmond, VA/Trinity Episcopal) picked up a defensive save.

The Vixens play in the consolation match tomorrow morning, taking on the loser of this afternoon’s contest between Bryn Mawr College and Mary Baldwin College.
