Vixens Face Eastern Mennonite on Homecoming Saturday
Visiting Eastern Mennonite University scored five first-half goals Saturday on its way to handing Sweet Briar hockey a 6-0 loss on homecoming. Royals Julie Denlinger and Meghan Hershey led with two goals apiece. Vixen goalie Cat Cox ’08 (Prince Frederick, MD/Calverton) stopped 24 shots in the game.
Sweet Briar takes on the alumnae in the annual Alumnae Game tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Vixens travel to Washington and Lee on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. game.
