Soccer Takes on Meredith in Non-Conference Action
Maggie Hart led with three goals Tuesday as visiting Meredith College defeated the Vixens 5-0 in non-conference soccer action. Hart put Meredith ahead 2-0 in the first 45 minutes of play with two goals. Her third game in the 59th minute after Meredith opened the half with a penalty kick goal.

Sweet Briar goalie Kristen Johnson ’09 (Federal Way, WA/Decatur) stopped 16 shots taken by the Meredith offense, which kept the Vixen defense on its toes most of the game.

The Vixens return to conference play Saturday as the team travels to Roanoke College for a 3 p.m. contest.
