SALEM, Va. — Sweet Briar College fell 6-0 Saturday as the Vixens traveled to Roanoke College for a conference match with the Maroons. The loss brings Sweet Briar’s season record to 2-7.
“I was disappointed in the first half with the level of team effort, but we played a gutsy second half despite players playing with significant injuries,” commented coach Paul Shaw.
The Vixens return home Wednesday to take on Randolph-Macon College at 4 p.m.
