Sweet Briar, VA—In an ODAC match at Sweet Briar today, Emory & Henry defeated the Vixens of Sweet Briar College 9-0. SBC coach Kelly Morrison cited match preparation as the deciding factor, "Emory played well, and we suffered from a spring full of cancellations and postponements. Every match we play we will get stronger and stronger, and we will peak for the championship at the end of the season."

Sweet Briar is 1-1 in the ODAC and 1-3 overall. They face Eastern Mennonite in Harrisonburg on Friday in another ODAC contest, and host Guilford on Sunday at 11 am.
