SBC Athletics Off With A Bang!!!
It’s spring in Vixen Country, and this weekend seniors came up big for SBC athletics!!!

With wins over RMWC and Salem, Vixen softball set a school record for opening season wins. The 4-0 start is the best start for a new program in SBC history. Senior pitcher Lindsey Nash (Amherst, VA/Amherst County HS) zipped her first pitch in for a called strike, and pitched to the program's first win.

Senior Sue Knouse (Washington, DC/Fort Worth Country Day School) notched the tennis program’s first win ever over a Division I opponent when she took a three setter from Liberty University’s Onastazia DeLuca (3-6, 6-1, 10-5).

With barely a minute left in regulation time, senior attacker Karah Strawley (Charlottesville, VA/Covenant School) scored to give the lacrosse team a 6-5 win over Christopher Newport University.
