Sweet Briar College tennis began its 2005 spring schedule, with a 6-1 road loss to Division I Liberty University Saturday evening. The Vixens were 1-0 in match play in the fall.
Senior Sue Knouse (Washington DC/Fort Worth County Day School) came up big for the Vixens at #6, defeating Onastazia DeLuca in a 10-point tiebreaker.
Sweet Briar returns home March 2 against nationally-ranked Washington and Lee University at 4:30 p.m.
