The First Pitch in Sweet Briar Varsity Softball History to be Thrown Saturday
The first varsity game in Sweet Briar College softball history will be played Saturday, when the Vixens take on the Wildcats of Randolph-Macon Woman's College at 11 a.m.

The college's fast pitch softball program began in 2002, as an intercollegiate club team. Prior to that, Sweet Briar played slow pitch club softball.
