Sweet Briar Swimming Suffers Second Loss of Season
Sweet Briar College swimming suffered only its second loss of the season, 86-132, to the top-ranked Generals of Washington and Lee University. Standout swimmers for the Vixens were first-years Jennifer Milby (Mechanicsville, VA/Lee-Davis) and Brittany Carlton (Warrenton, VA/Highland School). Milby swam in the 50 M. and 100 M. freestyles and in both relay events for Sweet Briar. Carlton finished second in both the 100 M. breaststroke and the 400 M. individual medley. Tonight's meet was the last meet of the semester for Sweet Briar. The Vixens? resume their competitions after winter break, when they take on the Lady Wasps of Emory & Henry January 22, 2005.
