Sweet Briar Volleyball Downed by Washington and Lee
Sweet Briar College volleyball lost in straight sets (5-30, 3-30, 10-30) Wednesday at Washington and Lee. Nicole Traylor '06 (Charlotte, NC/King William, VA) led the Vixens with seven digs in the match. Freshman Laurel Watts (Keysville, VA/Randolph-Henry) had a service ace for Sweet Briar. The Vixens return home for two matches Saturday. They face Emory & Henry at 2 p.m. and will take on Salem College at 4 p.m. The match versus Salem was originally scheduled for Oct. 5.
