Sweet Briar Soccer Shut Out by R-MWC
The Vixens of Sweet Briar College were shutout 2-0 Friday afternoon by host Randolph-Macon Woman's College. Randolph-Macon Woman's scored once in each half on goals by Alex Aguirre and Amanda Williams. They out shot Sweet Briar 32-9 for the game. Abby Brown '08 (Copper Canyon, TX/Marcus) had another outstanding performance in goal for the Vixens, making 13 saves. Coach Paul Shaw said, ?It was a very tough loss for our young side. We will remember this and build for the future.? With the loss, Sweet Briar is 2-5 in the ODAC. They look to get back in the win column Tuesday at home against Washington and Lee at 4:30 p.m.
