Sweet Briar Volleyball Loses Tri-Match at Guilford
Sweet Briar College volleyball lost both its matches Saturday in an ODAC tri-match at Guilford College. The Vixens lost 30-14, 30-18, 30-19 to Randolph-Macon Woman's College in their first match. Lynnsey Kraus '07 (Houston, TX/Clements) led the team with six kills. Freshman setter Jade Bomar (Amherst, VA/Amherst County)had eight assists and senior Dana Ripperton (Chapel Hill, NC/Chapel Hill) had five digs.

As a team, Sweet Briar had four block assists and two solo blocks. In their second match of the day, Sweet Briar lost 30-14, 30-10, 30-15 to host Guilford College. Sweet Briar is home Tuesday for a non-ODAC match. They face Salem College at 7 p.m.
