The Vixens of Sweet Briar College lost 1-0 to Mary Baldwin College Sunday in the final game of the Randolph-Macon Woman's College Classic Soccer Tournament.        

Jessica Lankes' goal at the end of the first half was the only goal scored in the game to give Mary Baldwin the win.

Ashley Forehand '05 (Prince George, VA/Prince George) and Whitney Shaffer '08 (Norfolk, VA/Maury) led the Vixens in shots.  Claire Bryan '06(Chesapeake, VA/Norfolk Academy) was strong in goal with eight saves.

Coach Paul Shaw said, ?Some good things happened this weekend and we had a couple of very difficult losses.  We will be stronger in the long run.?

Sweet Briar opens ODAC competition Wednesday Sept. 15 at Eastern Mennonite University.
