Vixens Shut Out Hollins 20-0
The Vixens of Sweet Briar College shut out Hollins University 20-0 in an ODAC lacrosse game today, evening their conference record at 3-3. Sweet Briar led at the half 11-0 on balanced scoring from team scoring leaders Anne Benham '04 (The Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands HS) and Julie Sellers '06 (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy). Sellers scored two within the first 1:18, including the actual game winner at 29:29 on an assist from junior Ginger Tripp (Richmond, VA/St. Catherine's). Benham led all players with 8 points on four goals and four assists.

Goalkeeper Emily Fitzpatrick '07 (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) recorded two saves.

The Vixens are 3-3 in the ODAC and 6-5 overall. They host Lynchburg Wednesday April 14 in a crucial ODAC contest for both teams. Hollins drops to 0-6, 0-5 ODAC.
