Sweet Briar College seniors Ashlynn Watson of Nelson County and Mayalin Quinones of Houston will present their final project, a cabaret titled “The Girls We Were to the Women We Want to Be,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 12-13, in the Babcock studio theater.

SBC history class travels to Europe this summer

Sweet Briar College students and alumnae will have the chance to tour the battlefields of Europe as part of a study-abroad class this summer. Taught by history professor John Ashbrook, “Industrialized Killing — The World Wars, the Holocaust, and Memory” takes place June 6 through July 3.
