Suzanne Stryker Ullrich writes: Sorry to have let the class down, but this past year has been more than a little crazy! My plate has been full working 60 hours or more each week, Rick being away 80% of last year and then there were the preparations for our recent move. I’m now living in New Caledonia in the South Pacific—too strange, but making the most of it. It’s a French island, so it’s fun to brush up on my French as well as experience this incredible place! My husband is on an assignment as an engineer at a chemical plant here, which is one of the biggest private employers on the island. It’s quite the paradise in many respects, yet very different from home, with lots to get used to! As someone mentioned, at least we can drive on the “right” side of the road! The biggest drawback is poor internet connectivity, but finding ways to work around that! Hope you are all well. I’m working on getting back for Reunion.
