Young Alumnae
The Young Alumnae Giving program encompasses classes within the first ten years of graduation (excluding Reunion classes) and calls on them to build on their connection to The College and one another by giving annually to the Sweet Briar Annual Fund. It is a time honored tradition. Recent graduates join the exclusive ranks of Sweet Briar Alumnae. They enjoy the benefits of membership to this vast network of those who have gone before them, and they are the connective bridge to future graduates. It is about class unity. It is about women supporting women through philanthropy and volunteering. It is about the Sweet Briar Promise from one alumna to another, to yet another. “Sweet Briar College provided me with the skills to become the woman that I am today. The SBC Annual Fund is my way to inspire others through leadership, dedication, and generosity to develop the Sweet Briar legacy for future young women.” Kathleen Wilson Wissel ’06
