There are many ways to support Sweet Briar. Giving to the College can be as simple as writing a check or charging your gift to your credit card, or making a gift in the form of securities, personal property, real estate or a matching gift.
Why is it important to give to the Annual Fund?
The continuous generosity of alumnae provide for Sweet Briar's greatest needs. Funds raised through Annual Giving are spent during the current fiscal year and afford annual budget relief to program areas such as student scholarships, faculty support, campus preservation, athletics, riding and technological advancements. How do I make a matching gift?
Many companies support Sweet Briar by matching or multiplying their employee's gifts to the College. This benefit is often extended to employee spouses, retirees and board members as well. Check with your company's personnel office or use our Matching Gift Search to determine if your employer participates.
Can I designate my gift for a specific purpose?

Will my class receive credit for my gift even if I designate it for something else?
Yes, your class will receive credit for your gift automatically, no matter what you designate your gift to go toward.
