We design and create practical solutions, work with inspiring people, and invent and  build things that improve people's lives.

The Sweet Briar College engineering community provides a challenging and supportive environment in which women become engineers and leaders who make a difference.  Sweet Briar engineering graduates now work in a variety of industries and have been accepted to a wide range of engineering graduate programs.

• Congratulations to engineering graduate Lindsay Davis '13!  She has accepted a position as a process engineer at AMTI, an advanced manufacturing and design company in Lynchburg VA

• Melissa Monterosso ’14 presented results from her summer research experience at Clemson, “Induced Osseous and Odontous Differentiation in Dental Pult Stem Cells through Static Compression,” at the 2012 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) annual meeting in Atlanta.
