Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Hands-on investigation of Earth surface processes, landforms, and soils. Activities include interpretation of topographic maps and aerial photographs, basic rock and mineral identification, soil sampling and description, experiments with water flow, and field exercises in geologic observation and interpretation.
