Mechatronics

Prerequisite: ENGR 221. This course focuses on designing systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and control systems engineering. Topics covered include: electromechanical sensors, actuators, DA and AD convertors, and data acquisition methods. Digital control methods and microprocessors will be introduced in class and used to design and conduct experiments. Two hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory.
