Students in the photography classes learn film development and black and white printing in the traditional darkroom environment. More advanced classes learn lighting for portraiture and still life in the studio, which is equpped with backdrops, strobes, and hotlights.

Film development and print washing is done outside the darkroom.

 Photography II and III include digital photography.
