Germany's Legendary Holiday Markets

A delightful eight-day seven-night river cruise from Aschaffenburg to Nuremberg on the Main River. Our ship will be the M.S. Swiss Pearl, one of Europe's finest river cruisers. All cabins are outside, with private facilities with shower and television. We will explore the best of Germany's famous Christmas markets and experience the spirit of the holiday season.

Ports of call include Miltenberg, Wertheim, WŸrzburg, and Bamberg. Some of the highlights are: a lecture on German Christmas Traditions and German Fairy Tales; an Amorbach Abbey Organ Concert; a visit to Wertheim Glass Museum to see antique ornaments; an excursion on the legendary Romantic Road from WŸrzburg to Rothenburg with guided walking tours of these towns; wine tasting in a local wine tavern; a traditional German Christmas Dinner and visit from Santa Claus aboard ship; and Bamberg and Nuremberg city excursions.

All meals aboard ship, excursions, events and lectures are included in a very reasonable price. Land-only and air-inclusive prices will be offered.
