Senior Class Campaign
Giving is the reason . . .
Class of 2014
Our senior year has finally arrived, and with it the many coveted privileges of wearing our cap and gown, sitting on the golden stairs and holding our champagne flutes high on the balcony of Sweet Briar House. However, with our seniority comes responsibility.
I challenge you to think back on your previous years at Sweet Briar. What would you say are your most valuable or meaningful experiences here?
We are writing to you on behalf of these moments and events to help you preserve such experiences for all Sweet Briar women to come. The Senior Class Campaign has been a strong contributor to the success of Annual Giving and Sweet Briar for many years now has become a tradition of its own — our class gift is the most noteworthy legacy we can leave behind after our time here is over. In order to keep this tradition strong, we ask you to make your best gift today.
Our 2014 Senior Class Campaign goal is to raise $6,000 with 65% class participation. This means we need 85 of you to make a gift this year. We can do this!
We have one year left so let’s make it count! Don’t forget to like our "Sweet Briar College – Class of 2014" Facebook page so you can stay up to date this year.
2014 Senior Class Gift: $6,000
2014 Senior Class Participation: 87 gifts for 65%
Senior Class Campaign History
Over the past few years, the campaign has undergone many changes to the pledge structure. This year, each senior is asked to make a gift in honor of her class. In addition, each student is invited to participate in the Community Philanthropy event to learn the importance of making philanthropy a part of her life.
The Annual Fund provides unrestricted support to Sweet Briar, which is crucial to the success and growth of the College. It offers support for many basic necessities, such as salaries for faculty and staff, student scholarships and academic programs. The Annual Fund also makes many significant campus priorities and initiatives possible. Your gift today makes it possible.
