What excited me about college? The new experiences and friendships I knew I would gain

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would travel to: Ireland and Australia

If I could have one day with anyone, it would be: My father's mother-- she looked after me as a kid and she made the best spaghetti-o's on this planet (yes, they were out of a can, but they were made with tons of love)!

About me: I joined the Admission staff in the summer after I graduated from Sweet Briar (August of 2013). After searching for the right college experience for me, I stumbled upon Sweet Briar through a current student and her mother, who is an alumna who lived in my town. After visiting the beautiful campus and seeing the small classes sizes and extraordinary riding program for myself, it was quite apparent to me that this was where I was meant to be for the next four years. I gained so much confidence, experience, friendships at Sweet Briar. Shortly after graduating I realized I didn't want Sweet Briar to be such a short part of my life. I am very excited to be working with so many young women this year, and in the years to come!

Favorite place on campus: The riding center. Horses have always been a large part of my life, and I feel that even though it was only one part of my college experience, I learned the most about myself at the barn. I learned to take risks and challenge myself in every aspect of my life!

Advice to prospective students: Be an advocate for yourself and don't be afraid to ask questions!
