The Office of Administration and General Counsel provides professional legal counsel to the College on all matters having legal significance to the management and operation of the institution. It ensures compliance with regulatory bodies and state and federal laws, as well as College policies and procedures, and provides legal and administrative support to the College’s Board of Directors.
The Vice President for Administration and General Counsel also serves as principal aide to the president of the College and is the primary liaison between the administration and the Board. She coordinates with the president to plan and oversee campus-wide strategic initiatives and special projects.
In doing this, she works with a broad spectrum of internal and external constituencies, working on faculty, staff and student issues, as well as with alumnae, community groups, and state and regional associations and agencies.
